Captain Roohullah Shaheed

Captain Roohullah Shaheed a man of courage a man of words a man bravery was born in a
family of Pakhtun of khyberPakhtunkhaw on May 5th 1990. They are 3 brothers and 1 sister. He
is(I am not using the word was here because the Holy Quran says Shaheed are not dead) the
older one His father is a doctor and like all father’s he also wanted that his son would be a
Doctor But the fortune of this man was something else to make their parents and country proud.

Captain Roohullah Shaheed completed his intermediate in Biology from Government College
Hayatabad Phase 6 and as his father wanted him to be a doctor but he refuse to be a doctor. He
wanted to join the Pakistan Army and want to become an officer. “I wanted him to get admission
in medical school, but he said that he wants to die a as martyr,” said his father, Muhamamad
Najibullah. He said that Roohullah was obsessed with the Pakistan Army. His Mother said: “he
always have something weird passions as in childhood when he have a uniform of army when I
washed it he wears it without dry. He gave the test and selected for the Pakistan Army for
Training and it was 2nd Ramazan when he gets news of his selection. He went to the Pakistan
Military Academy Kakul. He gets commissioned in 2011 from Pakistan Military Academy
Kakul From 125Long Course as 2nd Lieutenant in 50 Baloch Regiment of the infantry. He was
Beloved Patriot of his country. First his posting was in Waziristan and after that he was posted in
different areas of Pakistan.

He was a smiley person a joyful man he never have that ego that I am an officer or he is a soldier
like senior junior. He was a man of equality. In Military he was respectful because of his
Excellency and bravery and he was one of few that took part in many Operations.
In his tenure he did many things if I try to tell you then it would be so long that nothing can be
sum up. After some of his service he joined the Special Services Group (SSG) and was in 2 light
Commando Battalion.

He was a part of many operations like Army Public School (APS) attack, Christian Colony
Peshawar, Bacha Khan University attack etc.

In Last he was posted in Quetta and on 24th and 25th mid-night there was attack on the Police
Training center Quetta by the three heavily armed Militants. There were many police recruits in the building and they became hostages. Captain Roohullah Shaheed was informed and called for
the Clearance of the building. He made the 4 assault team to do the operation. After some of
clearance when he entered the room where hostages were in more and the militant was also in
them there was no light in room it’s difficult to safe your own and killed militant in that situation
but Roohullah was SSG a Commando he knew better to do in that situation. He entered and
shouted:”Are all own fellows I am a soldier of SSG”. The hostages said: “YES”. Roohullah
said:” Raise your hands and come out of the room.” He saw someone under the Charpay (Bed)
he shouted:” who’s under the charpa? ” He kicked the charpaye. Before the Militant Blast
Roohullah threw himself on militant and the militant blast himself and Roohullah got martyred.

On 24th October 2016 Rohullah talked to his brother Zahid (who was in Islamabad at that time)
on call 7 Minutes usually they talk on messages not on call as long. Zahid and other called
Roohullah as LALA G. he asked:” when are u coming LaLa G on leave.” Roohullah replied:” I
don’t know yet when I get I will come.” Zahid laughed and said:” ok save them for your
wedding.” Roohullah said:” I will come InshaAllah I will come do your study and also call to
home they gets worry.”

In the morning the younger calls Zahid and said: “LaLa G is martyred come home hurry up.”
When Rohullah comes to home on leaves he said to his brother zahid in night get up and talk to
me and zahid says nothing much now sleep please and Roohullah laughs on him. Zahid says
whenever he closes his eyes all the memories came to me and I wish I could talked to him more
and more at that.

On the morning of his shahdat at the time of Fajar His mother said that I was awaked by the
voice of Roohullah.

Roohullah Was Engaged before October and their family was planning for his Wedding after 2
month and those guests will who has to be invited on the wedding came on his Funeral with the
flowers that has to be threw on him in wedding are threw on his funeral.
Captain Roohullah Shaheed has a special attachment to me not by any relation he was unknown
to me but when I saw his pics it admires me to do something in life and to achieve something and
I shouts the Slogan of SSG MANJANBZAM. Rohullah’s smile was so cute his eyes was so
bright full dreams.

Because of his Extra Courage and bravery he was awarded with Sitara-e-Juarat from PakistanArmy. Pakistan Zindabad.
